I had an unexpectedly wonderful day today. As I woke up this morning, I contemplated spending the day in solitude... just to reflect, refuel and rest. But my outgoing nature got the better of me and I ended up going swimming and mountain biking with some people.

I'm so glad I did.

A.) I love being around people. Trying to "refuel" in solitude is almost counterproductive to me most of the time. Not all the time... but most of the time.

B.) I love being outside. I love seeing God through the things I see around me.

Now I'm going to end the day with some homemade sushi that my friend/coworker is making from a sushi kit he got at Barnes and Noble. Sharing home cooked meals with friends is such a holy thing, I think. Perfect way to end a great day... with 3 people i love... eating raw fish and seaweed.
